You must be like me and like a creepy Halloween theme :) Hope you enjoy the cookies but don't forget to try my pumpkin bread with walnut topping this Fall - it's a favorite for the season.

Thank you Chloe I'm glad you liked the picture :) I've been so busy lately I haven't been able to play around with taking pictures too much. Yes the jolly round orange ones look so nice and welcoming sitting on a porch and remind me more of thanksgiving than Halloween for some reason.

Hahaha Mary Lynn that's exactly why I snapped this pumpkin up! I had never seen any like it before. What a sweet way to spend the evening with your mom. You are very lucky to still be able to spend time with her. I'm also very lucky as my Mom just turned 90 and I love to bake things for her and my Dad too as they love homemade goodies. Have a fun evening with your Mom.Claudia Bughhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08893132997720328084noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5959066417173104882.post-23921700657045280612016-09-20T11:12:15.790-07:002016-09-20T11:12:15.790-07:00I want that pumpkin! Temperatures are still in the 80's, but thankfully there is no humidity, so tonight would be a great baking night. My Mom, age 93, does not like Chocolate Chips so I will make plain ones for her. I have to admit, I was looking forward to seeing your fall project, but recipes are always welcome. I think hot beverages always taste better when you have a great mug. Although it makes a beautiful photo. I can see why you snapped it.
